Issues: I'm trying to avoid sleeping on my back, which is really hard for me to do!

Well, nothing too new to report on this week. I celebrated my 24th birthday last Thursday with my family here in Wickenburg, and then drove home to California for a few days to visit family and friends there. It was so nice to see everyone and I had a great time.

We are two days away from my mid pregnancy ultrasound and I am getting so excited, but a little bit nervous. First, I hope that the baby is healthy and that it has everything it should have at this gestational age. It has been a very active little baby. I am feeling movement stronger and more frequently each day which makes me so happy. I think within the next couple of weeks I will be able to feel this movement from the outside, which means Cody will be able to feel him or her moving around in there.

This pregnancy seems to be going by so quickly and yet not quick enough. I just want to meet this little one, but I also want it to be healthy. That's why God is in charge and I'm not. :)

So I must reveal to all of you what my gut instinct is about the gender of this baby since I am only 2 days away. Since I stand a 50% chance of being right...we'll see. My prediction is that it's a boy.

I appreciate everyone's prayers. Our ultrasound is at 1 PM on Friday. Check back on here in a few days as I will post when I get home from the appointment. Hopefully I'll have some good ultrasound pics too.
