6 Weeks

Statistics
5 Weeks 6 Days
Starting Weight: 135
Current Weight: 134
Issues: My boobs still occasionally ache and over the last two days, I've noticed that I'm a lot more tired.

Nothing really new going on this week. As mentioned, I am getting a reminder of how tired pregnancy makes me. I have been sleeping until almost 8 o'clock every morning and when I get home from work at 2, I'm exhausted again. Usually I'll nap for half an hour and I go to bed at 9:30.

There's something wrong with our hot water heater, so I've been taking my showers at the gym. Fortunately it's literally right down the street from us, so it's not too inconvenient, but man, it makes you appreciate your hot water.

I went and bought some red raspberry leaf tea to drink once a day. It's supposed to be really good for my uterus and I took a lot of it after my c-section. It can't hurt.

Overall, I'm still feeling pretty good. I have had a few moments over the past week of thinking of the "what ifs." I also think that because this is my second pregnancy, I know what's coming up...when I'll probably start feeling movement, when I'll "show." It's still exciting, but those things make the first trimester not seem as exciting. I am so looking forward to this pregnancy. I ran across a piece of scripture I highlighted some time ago, and I know God pointed it out to me for this very reason.

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take you stand against the devils schemes. " Ephesians 6:10-11

Of course, the armor of God is my arsenal of memorized scripture. When I focus on Him, it reallys puts those fears to rest.

Below is my first belly photo. We took this last night after I went to the gym. I'm really not showing yet, way too early. That little pooch is just left over from my pregnancy with Brooke. Haha, I know my tummy will never be completely flat again, and I am perfectly OK with that.
