8 Weeks

Starting Weight: 135
Current Weight: 133
Issues: Nothing really new. Still tired and the occassional nausea and hip soreness.

Well, let's see. There's nothing too new to report on this week. I'm still feeling quite exhausted and I have nausea strike in the morning and the evening. It's funny though because then in the middle of the day I am STARVING. I have really taken a liking to pizza, which I loved anyways, but now I really like it. I'll usually eat a big meal mid-day, and then small snacks throughout the rest of the day because I don't feel like eating a huge meal.

I've been trying to keep going to the gym. My goal this time is to gain no more than 30 lbs. I gained 53 lbs with Brooke and it was hard work to get it all off, so I am trying my best not to gain that much this time. It's really hard, especially when I get my cravings in the middle of the day. I think having my gym membership is going to help a lot. I walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes or do the elliptical, but I have to be careful to not let my heart rate go above 140 beats per minute. I've toned down my weight lifting until I talk to the doctor about what is safe.


Speaking of the doctor, my first appointment is next Friday and I am looking forward to it. Cody and I are going together and that is such a relief to me. I'm excited to see our little peanut growing.

Something new this week. My hips are sore every once in a while, almost like stuff is stretching. I don't remember feeling that this early, but hey, every pregnancy is different.

Well, no new pictures. Not surprisingly, I'm not "showing" yet, although I can look like it after I eat a big meal. More next week...
